City Uses Emergency Budget to Overcome Flood in Pondoklabu

Jakarta Provincial Government is doing various efforts to overcome
flood problem. Through Jakarta Public Works (PU) Department, city is
currently building a-nine thousand square meters reservoir in Kampung
Pulo, Pondoklabu, Cilandak, South Jakarta, which its construction
process has reached 70 percent of completion. In addition, city is
also building a levee along 300 meters and normalizing Krukut River
from its original wide 4 meters to 6 meters. To ensure these flood
handling efforts run well, Jakarta Public Works Department has
prepared emergency budget as much as Rp 1 billion
