Singers wed on 11-11-11 for good luck
Several celebrities have decided to tie the knot on Nov. 11, believing that the digits 11-11-11 augur well.
Pop singer Nindy and her groom-to-be, Aska, said that they chose to wed on Nov. 11 because the date was easy to remember.
“The date is good. If we add up the numbers, the total is 8,” she said.
The number eight is considered lucky in certain cultures.
Another singer, Astrid chose Nov. 11 for her marriage as well, as reported by tribunnews.com.
Celebrity cleric Ustaz Solmed and his partner, April Jasmine, have also set their wedding for Nov. 11.
